as far as I know hadn’t run since the late 1940’s or early 50’s. Your photos of the service and repair and Thank you for doing such a great job of getting my father’s MSTP pocket watch working again. It had obviously had a hard time during WW2 and afterwards and as far as I know hadn’t run since the late 1940’s or early 50’s. Your photos of the service and repair and timegrapher provide an excellent record. It’s been a pleasure working with you on our family heirloom.provide an excellent record. I am a self confessed watch 'nut'! I am delighted to provide an unsolicited review of chronographexpertservice.co.uk. Keith has serviced at least a dozen of my watches. In all cases I have been delighted by the quality of service I have received together with some great advice. Thank you Keith.
Reply: really enjoy working on your timepieces, all are top quality. Keith

“I have been buying and selling watches for many years to fund my private ‘keeps’ collection. The greatest challenge has always been servicing/repair/restoration: I have tried and used a great many supposed horologists and watch makers and have by and large, had issues, of either being over charged or have had to return pieces several times to achieve satisfaction. Not so with Keith. His work is exemplary and he is without doubt the finest horologist I have ever used. Highly skilled and sensibly priced and pieces returned within a month. I would highly recommend this skilled horologist for anything from a minor service to full repair without reservation.”
Reply: Thanks Alastair, greatly appreciated, love working on your collection. Keith

Have had several watches serviced by Keith from chronograph to WW2 Dirty Dozen watches. Always has great communication with photos and videos as he services my watches. Very fair pricing as well. Very highly recommended.

I've used Mr Lawrence a couple of times now for a basic service & also fixing it, as it had a build up of fluff for some reason? I found Mr Lawrence had excellent communication & kept me up to date with photos of the work as he was doing it. Very professional & would recommend using him to anyone who wants a professional job on their precious watches. I found Mr Lawrence has an excellent work ethic & is very competitive, price wise. An excellent chronographer all round. 100%.
Reply: Hope to be of service in the future, many thanks. Keith

I've been sending Keith various watches for about a year now. Each time the work has been exemplary and turn around is far better than a dealer would be. Regular updates are received and comprehensive reports supplied with the serviced watch. I don't seem to be able to stop buying so no doubt more will be heading his way once the three he currently has are done! Somebody stop me!!!
Reply: I wouldn't want to do that, I enjoy your watches!

HOW IT WORKS
Simply send details of your requirements for your Timepiece, on the form. We will look at the details & give you an initial estimate on cost. We will then give the full address to send your watch. On receipt of your watch we will provide a more detailed estimate. As you can appreciate we are not able to speculate on parts that may be needed until the watch is stripped prior to servicing. After all servicing procedures and testing, payment would be required by either Bank Transfer or PayPal if preferred. The watch is then returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery, fully insured.
